GROUP CLASSES

Drop In Style Classes: these single classes are great for focusing in on more specific training issues and goals, and for those who have a hard time making 4, 6, or 8 week class schedules line up with their own busy work + family schedules!

4 Week Series Classes: these classes follow more traditional styles of group training where we spread out the information and training skills into four weeks of classes with homework during the week in between classes!

Our group class schedule is always changing, evolving, and being updated and added to depending on the season, feedback we're getting from clients, and overall need for particular class topics!

Private Lessons are one of our most popular training services. These one hour long sessions are completely custom and individual to you and your dog's behavioral or training goals!

Lesson Options:

1 Hour Private Lesson at my training space in Fort Collins:
- These lessons are completely personalized to whatever training or behavioral questions/goals you have for your puppy or dog.
1 Hour Private Lesson at your home:
- These lessons are also completely personalized to whatever training or behavioral questions/goals you have for your puppy or dog. Additional fees apply for travel time to and from the lesson.
1 Hour Private Lesson Field Trip:
- We can meet at a park, dog friendly store, hiking trail, brewery/patio, Old Town, or other location that you need some additional help training your dog in. Additional fees apply for travel time to and from the lesson.

Frequently Requested Private Lesson Topics + Goals:

Introducing a new dog to the household (puppy, rescue, foster, etc!)
Puppy raising issues like mouthing/biting, jumping, crate training, potty training, leash walking skills, fearful/nervous behaviors, proper socialization, etc!
Leash reactivity
Impulse Control issues – for the dogs who once they get overly excited, it’s impossible to manage them or help them calm back down. Putting on the leash at the door, trying to end a play session, getting their food ready at meal times, witching hours for some dogs, etc!

Life Skills + Manners around the house like counter surfing, barking, digging in the yard, demand or attention seeking behaviors, etc!
Basic obedience (teaching AND proofing commands like sit, down, recalls, place, etc)

Wedding Dog Wrangler! I can come handle your dog(s) on your wedding day to make sure they can safely and calmly be a part of photos, greeting guests, the ceremony, etc!
Teaching your dog to swim, ride next to a bicycle, paddle board, etc!
Prepping your dog (and home!) for a new baby including how to safely do introductions, what life skills, manners, and commands your dog should know to help the transition go as smoothly as possible, and how to make sure your dog is as happy as you guys are as you go through this big life transition!
- A lot of times my daughter Penelope (1.5yrs old) joins us as a “training assistant” for these types of lessons if the dog hasn’t even met a child before and we need to do it safely!

PRIVATE LESSONS

DAY TRAINING

In our more in depth version of this program (while also completely customizable to your individual training goals) we come and pick up your puppy or dog once a day Monday-Friday to head out for training sessions. On these 1-2 hour training field trips we rotate locations throughout the week.

We can stay at your home to work on household manners and life skills like doorway protocols, a place command, tethering, counter surfing, barking out the window, etc.
We can work in your neighborhood on reactivity, leash manners, recalls, and more!
We can go to the training facility to work on canine fitness or teaching beginner obedience in a less distracting environment until it's ready for proofing!
We can go to the park to work on loose leash walking skills or reactivity issues.
We can work on proper socialization by going to dog friendly stores like Lowe's or Old Town.
We can take them swimming locally, teach them how to settle on a paddle board, we can bring them on a field trip to try dock diving!
We can hit the hiking trails and work on their trail manners, the options are endless!

You'll get daily updates via pictures and videos of your dog's training sessions, and at the end of each week we'll do a lesson together and you'll get homework to continue to work on at home with your dog.

BEHAVIORAL REHAB

Our goal for behavioral rehab is not to use obedience to just suppress or prevent your dog from displaying an aggressive, reactive, fearful, etc response towards a trigger. Our goal is to genuinely help teach + create a new conditioned response to your dog's trigger so that they can look at it and make a good decision. There is no one way to do this, every dog + handler team is different, which is why we'll start with a private lesson, and then create a training plan together to help you reach your goals for your dog!

1. First Lesson: Our first lesson together will be a deep dive into your dog's history, your current issues and concerns, and your ultimate training and lifestyle goals. In this 1-2 hour lesson we'll cover a LOT of information, but you'll leave with immediate actions and steps to take to start to improve your life together with your dog!

2. Depending on what we decide (together!) in our first lesson that will work best to help you reach your goals we'll be continuing with either private lessons or day train options to get you and your dog to a point where you're confident and comfortable with your communication and handling.
